The role is a six-month internship for SoC Design Team in the System Solutions Group (SSG). At SSG, we are a team of experts in various Synopsys technologies to deliver architecture, design, verification, implementation, tools, methodology to enable our customers complete their most challenging SoC Design projects. Our work spans from sub-blocks to full turnkey end-to-end SoCs. Our customers range from start-ups to industry leaders, commercial companies, and government agencies.
As part of this role, you are expected to work towards frontend design and verification of SoC. The role will expose you to various innovative technologies deployed by Synopsys for Semiconductors.

- Work on projects involving RTL Design, Design Verification, RTL Quality Signoffs.
- Work on various Synopsys Technologies related to PPA (Power, Performance, Area) Optimization.
- Work on understanding architecture and design for SoC, Subsystem and IP.
- Final semester for B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech in electronics with strong concepts in Computer Architecture, Digital Design.
- Prefer candidates with prior experience in VLSI projects and scripting (Perl, Python, etc.)
- Well knowledge of fundamental analog and digital electronic concepts
- Object oriented programming experience/coursework (Beginner)
- Shell/Perl/Python/other scripting language experience (Beginner).
- Debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, Initiative, interpersonal skills
