Wabtec is a global leader in providing equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail sectors. The 10,000 square meter facility will initially manufacture axle-mounted disc brake systems, distribution valves, calipers, actuators, and friction materials for freight, metro and locomotive applications.
Wabtec is one of the largest rail equipment manufacturers in India, having supplied more than 600 locomotives to Indian Railways and with an installed base of subsystems. US rail components and services provider Wabtec Corporation has opened its new “manufacturing campus” in India. - The intern will be part of the products in Digital Solutions (Ex. Ports, Rail domain) and will be working as part of the engineering team delivering functional components as needed by the product management.
